What is Twist Museum?

Twist Museum is London’s longest serving and best rated illusion museum, which is located on Oxford Street. It’s a hands-on interactive experience that invites visitors to explore perception, perspective, and how the brain processes what we see.

How long does a visit take?

Most guests spend around 60–90 minutes exploring the exhibits, but you’re welcome to stay longer.

Do I need to book in advance?

Advance booking is strongly recommended to secure your preferred time slot. Limited tickets may be available at the door, but entry cannot be guaranteed. You will also benefit from a discounted ticket price if you buy tickets online!

Are children allowed?

Absolutely! Twist is designed for all ages. Children under 3 go free, but under 15s must be accompanied by an adult.

Can I bring a buggy or stroller?

Yes, you can bring a pushchair, but it must be left in our designated buggy park during your visit.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes the museum is step-free and wheelchair accessible. Most exhibits are fully accessible, with staff on hand to assist if needed.

Is photography allowed?

Definitely! We encourage visitors to take photos and share them online, it’s all part of the experience.

Where is Twist Museum located?

You’ll find us at 248 Oxford Street, just a 3-minute walk from Oxford Circus Underground station.

Can I bring food or drinks?

Yes, we have a vending machine on site but you’re welcome to bring your own. Food and drinks aren’t allowed inside the exhibition space, but you’re welcome to use our auditorium.

Is there a gift shop?

Yes! Our shop features a wide range of illusion-themed games, souvenirs, magic tricks, puzzles and quirky science-inspired gifts.
